Black Friday 2015 CVS Shopping Trip

After my first two trips back were semi-successful, I was beginning to wonder if I’d ever get my groove back.  I’m happy to report that I think finally the third trip was the charm! Since I hadn’t remembered to take my ECBs with me on vacation earlier this week I was able to do only 2 transactions tonight.

subtotal: $22.88
used $3/1 Revlon scanner Q
used $5/$15 CVS mailer coupon
used $4/3 Covergirl (this did beep and the manager overrode it since he didn’t think the lip gloss were considered travel size- your manager might not do the same)
used ECBS from recent transactions: $5, $2, $1, $1, $.99, $.79
new total: $0.10, got $4 ECB, $12 ECB and $.89 ECB (the cashier and manager both oohed and aahed over the $12 one LOL)

Transaction 2

Totals: $44.18 at sale prices for $0.27 OOP. I started with $11.77 in ECBs and ended with $12.53 in ECBs.  My beauty club totals are now at $22.93, so hopefully there will be enough good deals to hit the $50 mark before the end of the year. Just maybe I’ve got my CVS groove back now :-)
