cvsshoppingoct2013

I haven’t done too much CVS shopping in the past 3 weeks.  Here’s what I’ve done recently:

September 22
12 Renuzits @ 12
used (2) B3G3 (each took off $3)
used $1.50/3 Renuzits CVS Q
used $3 ECB
new total: $0.00

September 29
1 Almay @ 5.79
1 Physician’s Formula @ 9.99

used $1/1 Physician’s Formula
used $5/$15 makeup CVS scanner Q
used $3 ECB and $4 ECB
new total: $2.78 plus $.23 tax = $3.01, got $6 ECB and $3 ECB

October 11
2 Right Guard Xtreme Deos @ 6
used (2) $1.50/1 Right Guard Xtreme
used $3 ECB
new total: $0.00, got $1.50 ECB.  This also completed my buy $20 select Henkel products get $5 Savingstar e-credit, so I now have $5 cash in my CVS pouch to keep my out of pocket lower on those little OOP purchases.

October 19, Transaction 1
2 Goodnites @ 18.98
1 Huggies @ 9.49
1 Palmolive @ .99
subtotal: $29.46
used (2) $2/1 Goodnites printables

used $1 quarterly rewards ECB
used $1.50 ECB from Right Guard
used $6 ECB from Physician’s Formula
new total: $14.96 + 1.23 tax = $16.19, got $10 ECB

October 19, Transaction 2
8 Progresso Soups @ 7.92
1 Tums Refreshers @ 3.99
3 CVS 12 ct Antacid Chews @ 2.97
subtotal: $14.88
used (4) $.50/2 Progresso soups from SS 09/08/13 #2, SS 9/22/13 or SS 10/20
before I shopped I loaded my card with the $2.00 Savingstar e-credit WYB 8 CANS any flavor Progresso® Soups.
used $1/1 Tums
used $10 ECB from T1
new total: $1.88, got $2 ECB and $2.97 ECB and $2 Savingstar credit

With all the transactions listed here I bought $119.42 worth or merchandise for $19.62 OOP.  That’s less than what I’d have paid for just 2 packs of the diapers!  I started with $11 in ECBs and ended with $4.97 in ECBs and $5 in cash from Savingstar, so I also consider that $1.03 loss in “CVS money” for a net cost of $20.65 for everything.  Hopefully there will be a couple more moneymakers between now and Black Friday to help keep my big shopping trips on Thanksgiving at a very low OOP!
