4/21/13 CVS Beginner’s Scenario

This scenario is for beginners so it’s designed to be fairly simple, with no scanner Qs included unless advertised in the weekly ad.  It also does not tally any items that may qualify for the beauty club. As you feel more confident you may want to try a more advanced rolling scenario.

This scenario will yield you 2 Crest Toothpastes, 1 Physician’s Formula concealer, 2 Orbit Gum, 2 Coke 2 liters and 1 Gallon of Milk– all for $6 OOP.

Our Beginner’s Scenario for last week (4/14 – 4/20) ended with a $1 ECB to get you started this week. If you don’t have any ECBs – no worries! You’ll just pay a bit more OOP (out of pocket) this week but will earn some ECBs to help you lower your OOP next week.

Transaction 1
2 Crest Toothpastes @ 5.98
use (2) $1/1 Crest from 3/31 PG
use $1 ECB from last week
new total: $2.98, get $4 ECB

Transaction 2
1 Physician’s Formula Concealer @ 6.49
use $1/1 Physician’s Formula from 2/10 or 3/10 SS
use $4 ECB from T1
new total: $1.49, get $7 ECB

Transaction 3
1 Gallon Milk @ 3.49 (prices regional)
2 Orbit Gum @ 2

I did one of your Scenario’s last week. I was so excited to get so much for so little. Thank you for your time putting together these ideas! Saving is fun.
